L proposed last night. Of course, I said yes. We know the ceremony will be at the beach and late April to early May. We have been talking about it for awhile. I dont want anything big or even medium sized. There will be more vegetarian food than nonvegetarian food. It has been a very interesting year to say the least. I am happy. Still sorting out some crap. just like everyone does. making more soap. knitting more socks.
Today we went to Lowe's and picked out paint colors for each room of the house. We have our colors, now just to pick the day to paint everything. L cooked steaks and burgers on the grill I bought for him for our anniversary. He did a good job.
I grilled eggplant yesterday, so I could make a rigatoni, fresh mozarella, tomato, and basil pasta dish today.
I made a few different kinds of soap - one w golden yellow pigment, vanilla scent, and bentonite clay in scallop shell molds and ones w little seashells fitted into circular molds.This is what L gave me for our annisversary. It's like a swirly celtic-y knot flower like cluster of diamonds. I picked out when we went to the jewelry store to see what size ring would fit. He said he wanted to buy me a diamond necklace, so I just looked for one I liked. :)
